Learn At Last, trading online as Learn Dutch At Last, is responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

2.What information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may process:
- your name, email address, telephone number and billing address;
- account and login information;
- orders, payments, invoices and course-access information;
- course activity, lesson and quiz progress and results;
- messages submitted through the contact form or by email;
- technical information needed to secure and operate the website, such as IP address, browser information, timestamps and server logs; and
- functional identifiers described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect special-category personal data through this website. Please do not include sensitive information in the contact form.
3.Why we use your information

4.Who receives your information
We only share information where needed to operate the service or comply with law. Recipients may include:
- our hosting and technical service providers;
- Stripe, which processes payments and provides fraud-prevention services;
- Google, which provides the Gmail service used to send and receive operational email;
- professional advisers, public authorities or courts where disclosure is legally required; and
- service providers we appoint under appropriate data-processing terms.
Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on this website. Read Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
5.International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where this occurs, we rely on an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
6.How long we keep information
- Course and account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to provide support and resolve disputes.
- Course-access and progress records may be removed or anonymised when they are no longer needed.
- Contact enquiries are normally kept for no longer than two years after the last meaningful contact, unless they become part of a contract or dispute.
- Invoices and core sales records are retained for at least seven years where Dutch tax law requires it.
- Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
We may keep information longer when required by law or when necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7.Cookies and similar technology
The website uses functional cookies needed for accounts, course access, the basket, checkout and secure payment. Embedded YouTube course videos are blocked until you consent to external media. If you consent, Google/YouTube may receive your IP address, browser details, requested page or video, and interaction information. We do not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels or externally hosted Google Fonts. See the Cookie Policy for the current categories and controls.
Our Contact page contains a normal link to our Instagram profile; it does not embed Instagram content. If you choose to follow that link, you leave our website and Instagram processes the visit under its own privacy terms.
8.Your rights
Subject to the conditions in the General Data Protection Regulation, you may ask us to:
- provide access to your personal data;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- delete your information;
- restrict or object to processing;
- provide information you supplied in a portable format; or
- withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.
Requests can be sent to learndutchatlast@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity. You also have the right to complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
9.Security and changes
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The current version and its update date will always appear on this page. If a change materially affects processing based on consent, we will request new consent where required.
